Hello,
My HDD died and need to replace it. I am quite confused which one should be compatible with mine mainly regarding to SATA should be II or III

I am having MACBOOK pro 13' 2.7GHz Core i7 - 2011
and want to replace my hard drive by WD5000LPVT 2.5" 500GB WD Blue?

Are they compatable with eaach other?

Thanks.

Yes it will work just fine. You can put any SATA II or III drive in there and it'll work.

HDD'S can't even reach SATAI speed limits so you're fine with anything really. As long as it's a 2.5" drive.
