MacBook Pro won’t boot, no gray screen

Hello,

I was normally browsing the web in Windows then I wanted to reboot into OS X.

Then my MacBook Pro simply won’t boot anymore.

When I press the power button, the optical disc, the hard drive and the sleep indicator light start but about 2 seconds later they all stop with an awkward click sound.

I am using an early-2008 17” MacBook Pro.

That has happend to me twice...within a year from each other. And the both time it was the harddrive that went out on me.
