Macbook Pro won't charge?

It has 86 charge cycles and is 22 months old. When i plug the adapter in it says not charging. There is a green light however. I check the battery status and it says Condition : Replace Now. But this seems weird because a normal battery lasts 400 cycles at least. I'm not very sure what the problem is, the battery or the charger? And if it's the charger, would changing a whole new adapter work? Thanks.

I suggest take it to an Apple Store to replace the battery. Apple states that the battery should be at 80% of its original charge capacity at 1000 cycles.

thanks. I've decided to get a new adapter tomorrow morning and try it out, if all else fails then i guess i have to change the battery. I don't want to do it now just in case the new adapter works because its a hell lot of money for me to get a new battery.
