Macbook Pro wont read External HD

Hey all, Ive had this external hd for 2 months or so, i never had an issue with it. It always worked with my macbook pro, and my pc's...one day i plugged it in & since then it doesnt show up on my macbook anymore. my pc's still read it just fine..

Any suggestions what I can try to do?

Go into Disk Utility if you see it there highlight it and try hitting the mount button up top.

also check the filesystem - it doesn't happen for all of them but several externals formatted with ntfs don't seem to work or mount. FAT32 is your best option when storing files.

Why would it suddenly stop working with my Mac when it was working for months
