A minor annoyance, but I'd like to know if there is a fix.
Due to the nature of my work, I default to running my MacBook Pro in Windows XP mode for long stretches of time. Whenever I try to simply restart the computer, I get a black screen, I hear the Mac start up sound, then nothing but fan noise. Powering off then on it works fine. It does not seem to do this when running OS X.
I believe I am running the latest Boot ROM version, I tried a few SMC resets, I even reinstalled both OS's from scratch (upgrading to 10.6.3), same problem.
Any help is appreciated. I did search around for answers and found nothing helpful.
15" MacBook Pro2,2
Boot ROM version MBP22.00A5.B07
Mac OS X 10.6.3
Windows XP sp3
Boot Camp Assistant 3.0.2
Boot Camp 3.1 (on the PC side)
