I want to buy a MBP for next semester. Is there any speculation on whether they will be updated soon, say Macworld? I would rather wait two months if they are going to get the new Intel chips. All I can find is speculation on a MacBook update. Anything ya'll have would be helpful. Thanks.

Of course no one knows for sure, but you better wait after MacWorld, there are good chances of a new portable.

The problem is, even if they announce it at MacWorld, there is a chance that it will be another month before they really start shipping them. So yeah, while I would wait til MW, don't if you really need it to start off next semester.
