The seller has told me I can purchase this laptop for £580, though I'm hoping to get them down to £550.

Do you think it's a good deal?. I already have a C2D Macbook, but want a Macbook Pro for the dedicated graphics, larger screen and aluminated keyboard.

I'd collect the laptop if i purchased it.

I'd be extremely wary of that. The seller is brand new to ebay, and is selling a macbook pro for an unbelievably low price?

Sounds fishy to me.

Well I'd pick it up, so I can look at it before purchasing it.

Well if you're sure about going ahead with it, make sure you take someone with you, and let people know where you're going etc.

It doesn't hurt to be careful.
