Macbook Pro6,1 screen off center

Hello all,

New to the Macbook world. I purchased a Macbook Pro6,1 off craigslist. Everything works fine except the screen is off by a small amount. Its only on the right side and is very minor but wandering if this is a issue or possibly the video card or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like a possible problem with your LCD flat cable, or perhaps the display itself...

My guess is that it's not off center, and that region of the display is just obscured by the colored lines.

You could try opening up the machine and checking the flat cable.

Thank you for the quick reply. Is opening it up easy or should I have a Mac tech take a look at it? Is this a common problem with this model that would be covered?
