Hello,

I'm a future MacBook Pro owner and I would like to ask if anyone knows, what brand is the 2x2GB RAM and 128GB SSD (if you choose to upgrade) in 2011 MacBook Pro 13" ??

RAM can vary because Apple uses various suppliers. I've seen at least Samsung and Crucial RAM in Macs but to be honest, the manufacturer should play no role in this (many OEMs use Samsung DRAMs anyway so the final products are more or less the same).

The SSD is by Toshiba and seems to be HG3 series.

So, a 2x4GB RAM by Crucial and a 128GB SSD again by Crucial will be a good compination. What do you say?

You can probably get the RAM cheaper from elsewhere but 128GB Crucial M4 is pretty decent.
