Hi,
I want to max out my MacBook's RAM to 4GB, but I never seem to use more than 700MB of RAM anyway. So if I upgrade, will I notice a difference?

Depends... though usually having more RAM can't hurt. :)

Take a look in Activity Monitor, under the System Memory tab. If you have significantly more Page outs than Page ins, then you definitely need more RAM.

I have run my MacBook with 4gb of RAM ever since I got it. The performance is just fantastic. There is hardly ever any swapping needed for my usage.
