MacBook ram question

What's the Most Ram I can put in a brand new MacBook?
I was going to let apple add 4gigs and pay the $150, but kind of gotten screwed over after doing a data transfer from my PC to MB.

This is for the unibody aluminum MacBook, and this is for the WhiteBook. Both say the max supported RAM is 4 GB.

you dont need 4GB in a new macbook...
i got 2GB DDR3 in mine & i can run every game there is without any problems at all, putting in 4GB wont make it faster
