Hi- My Macbook, started a couple days ago, will just have its screen go black and go to sleep. I did a repair permissions which had no effect. I turned screen saver off and made it sleep after an hour, yet, it seems randomly it will just go to sleep.

Any ideas?

I'm having the reverse problem of that video...The video says how to help make your computer go to sleep... Mine= it goes to sleep randomly.

It's the same principle; it fixes any unstable issues. Try it and see if it works, you have nothing to lose.
EDIT: Err, sorry, that's not the correct video. Hold on.

EDIT 2: Ok, this is the video I should have given you.

I did the diagnostic test, which was normal, I cleared the PR RAM, and the thing where u take the battery out and hold down power button for 10 seconds. I did the repair permissions.

It will still randomly go to sleep. Its plugged in also into the wall.

Any other ideas? (This is for a Macbook, not MBP)
