Macbook randomly shutting off

Lately while playing WoW my macbook shuts off randomly. I also get a lot of really bad lag in game. Is it overheating? Know of any good free hardware testing programs?

Macbook 2,1, 2GHz processor, 1 Gig RAM, Leopard 10.5.8
