Has there been any speculation as to the upgrades on the next macbook? I'd expect at least a core i3 sandy bridge but i hope they don't adopt Intel's GMA HD 3000. I'm hoping for a dual core i5, then it'd be more purchasable for me.

Well, if it does go sandy bridge (which it will, given that it does get updated), it is stuck with the HD3000. Most likely the i3, maybe the most basic mobile i5. If you want the i5, why not just get the MBP, it's already out
