Hello Forum,

I am running a 2ghz intel core 2 duo. I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon because it functions great.

My question is since the new Macbook line does not have a replaceable battery does anyone think it is useful to buy a replacement battery now incase in the future they do not exist anymore? Is it possible they won't exist?

Thanks,

Apple is still selling batteries for 5 year old Powerbooks on their site. I think your fine unless your battery is mostly done with it's usable life. Don't forget, if you do but one and don't use it, it'll slowly die. Even if it's never been opened.

Thanks. Never knew that about never opening it.
