I have been having problems with my MacBook for 2 years. Apple Care has been great but I think I reached a point where I am tired of having it fixed. Did anybody have their MacBook replaced? Was it with a new one or maybe refurbished? Is there an option to pay the difference and get a new one? Thanks

I haven't had to use this, fortunately, but I believe the policy is that they give you a new machine after the third repair. You have to be persistent.

What exactly is wrong with your machine that needs repair so often?

It started small with a track pad replacement. Then my computer wouldn't work on battery power. Then similar problem plus it looked like i had a hard drive problem but they replace a logic board and it was fine. Now my screen is flickering and the bluetooth is not being recognized.
