i want to sell this macbook Apple MacBook 13.3" Laptop - MC240X/A (May, 2009)

And I want to install osx 10.7 Lion
But I dont have the disk.
Ive got the DMG file on my USB and I need help on how to restore it.

Also I have another problem. Ive partoined the macbook HDD to 130Gb to OSX and 30gb to Windows. When I try and delete it through Disk Utility It Wont delete. Please help

-restart macbook
-plugin usb stick with lion .dmg image
-open finder put .dmg image from usb stick onto harddrive
-open disk utility
-format usb stick (click advanced and check box to make bootable for intel mac's)
-once formatted open tab for restore
-under source point to where you placed lion .dmg
-under destination drag over formatted usb stick
-click restore
-once done reboot and hold down alt/option on keyboard
-pick usb stick to boot from
-this will start lion install
-once you get to first stage open disk utility from menu bar (at top)
-from here you can now format whole drive
-once done do clean install of lion
-sell macbook!

Thanks Tom but I can't access finder, my Mac will only start up in recovery mode. So I can access disk utility.

Just a guess, but may work (your gonna need a second usb stick)

-boot to recovery mode and then disk utility
-insert clean usb stick
-format second usb stick (check advanced to make bootable for intel mac's)
-insert usb stick with lion .dmg (note you could insert at same time as first one,but making sure you don't format wrong one a lose lion image)
-go to restore tab
-source image find on usb stick
-destination...drag over second clean formatted usb stick
-restore
-reboot hold down alt/option
-pick usb stick and do as i said in first post
