Is it possible to upgrade the memory of the 2015 12" MBooks Retina?

Cannot upgrade anything on it, Just a battery replacement (but that is glued to the bottom).

At the moment, the MBook is running High Sierra. But i was thinking, why not do a software downgrade (in MacOSX and Apps) so that it could run smoother and faster?

With the latest update to Big Sur, it runs decently. Might want to try that first before downgrading.

Big Sur is the latest OS that can run on the MacBook?

Yes,  has a list or Big Sur compatible macbooks

High Sierra is good, but buggy while Mojave runs better on intel Macs from this era.
you could also OCLP and run Monterey, which I am now using on my MacBook Pro 2012 and that is fast!

hope this helped!

I’m planning on running a couple of Adobe apps on the MacBook, so I’m kinda worried that it will have a difficulty if I run upgraded versions. That’s why I was thinking in the first place to run downsized software 😉. So I can make it run ok with older and less cpu consuming apps.
