So my MacBook is a little over 2 years old, and it has been mostly problem free. However, it randomly restarts without warning nor explanation. I do not believe the computer overheating is the culprit because I am able to play World of Warcraft for hours without any problems. Sometimes the restart happens when I am working on Microsoft Word, sometimes it happens when I am listening to music. The log in console shows no troubles before the restart or even afterwards. What could be the culprit?

Probably something simple like it needs the firmware update to fix the random shutdown issue on rev a. macbooks, I had the same issue and did the firmware update did the trick. Now moved on to another macbook, but my buddy bought my old one, and it's still going strong.
