I noticed that my computer, especially when I am in Safari, my computer is running very slow. The "beach ball of death" thing constantly comes up, and every time I click a link or loading a page.
Any one have any suggestions to speed up my little buddy?

maybe you need to get more ram. i kinda had that problem before with only 1gb. after upgrading to 4gb it's all gravy :cool:

More Ram will not speed up your internet connection.

If you open up utilities and click on activity monitor,
Safari will show it is using up 61-99 mb of ram.

If you have 1 GB or 4GB of ram installed, Safari uses the same exact amount of ram.

1GB=1024 MB

so no matter how much ram you have, it won't speed up your internet connection.

Test your internet speed here:

what type of internet connection?

broadband, dsl or dial up?

if your using dial up you need to move into the new millenium!!!
