Hi guys,

My wife is having an issue with her Macbook. The screen works great, when it comes on. However, 80% of the time, when she opens the laptop, she has to jiggle the screen back and forth to get it to come on. Sometimes it takes several minutes.

Any idea what that could be and what the solution would be? Could it just be a loose connection somewhere?

Thanks a million!

Jason

Thanks. The computer is about 2 years old. Is there a way for me to look at it myself to see if a connection is bad? How complicated would that be?

There isn't really a way without opening it up I presume. You can always look on ifixit.com for disassembly instructions if you REALLY want to. But I suggest taking it to retail store, and see what they say.
