MacBook screen flicker

Has anyone had this issue recently - I know it was an issue on the Core Duo models, but I have a C2D. It just started happening the other day, I'm trying to take it to the Apple Store today, but I would like to know generally how long it takes to get fixed.

i know mine does it too, and it s a c2d,, it only does it when it s been sleeping for a bit and then i just pop the lid open, an dit only flickers for like 15 seconds.. i don't knwo if that s normal

My 3 week old MacBook Pro (2.4ghz, 4GB) does it too

however, whenever the Brightness is around the low-middle, it only flickers ever so slighty then

Only happens for a couple of minutes then its fine and then after an hour would start again

I dont know what to do....

It's a problem with the screen inverter. Take it to an Apple Store and they'll get it sorted for you (I'd imagine you're still under warranty).
