Macbook Screen flicker

I think my screen might be flickering, when its lit less than half and I go to type or touch the trackpad it seems like the screen with flicker a little bit. I just wanted to know how extreme a screen flicker really is? Is it something that when it happens I will definitely be able to tell its happening?

I have an alum macbook and just got a new battery from apple care and kinda have the feeling things are starting to go bad... Good thing I just got apple care for 2 more years!!

Screen Flicker

I have an original 15" Unibody MacBook Pro. The screen flickers (fast flash to black and back) every so often. It ran out of warranty and I did not realize it before it was too late to get the Apple Care extended warranty.

Is there any kind of recall on this defect in aluminum (did it again) MacBook Pro 15" unibody systems?
