Macbook Screen Flickering & Dead?

Recently my macbook screen started to flicker, on & off till I adjusted the screen up/down and it would be fine. Until yesterday it just went off and moving the screen didn't do anything. I can still see my desktop in the backround, any clues on how to fix this issue?

Looks like the inverter is toast. You see your desktop background really dark don't you?

I had the same problem on the same model, it was the inverter.

yes my backround is really dark.

IS this the inverter that i need? Or suggest an better place to buy then ebay?

If the ebay seller isn't lying it's what you need You also have ifixit (expensive) or appleparts (no idea how they work / prices)

For 10 bucks I would go with ebay. Ifixit wants 50 bukcs
