MacBook Screen Turns Very White, Bright When Turned On

Hey guys, recently my MacBook has been turning a really strange color of very bright, clearish-white, and was wondering if anyone had a solution to fixing it. Thanks.

It will be whitish, really bright, sometimes right when I open it up.

my daughters 2009 mac book had a white screen problem after about 3 month usage. It would randomly turn white. We had it in for service and of course they couldn't reproduce the error or find something wrong.

Got it back, same thing, back in for service. Nothing better. In for a third service without any change. After that we filmed the screen when it happened to have proof that it really does happen

We got a brand new 2010 model in replacement! (not at the applestore, but at our local electronics retailer) Never had any problems with the new one
