Going to try and describe this the best I can. Had this macbook since May 2010. Love it absolutely no problems. The other day I noticed I was working and it just STOPPED, screen went black and the fans shut off. Had them set to 4000 rpm with smc. Five seconds later it resumed and was fine. I hope there isn't a short or anything. Just did it for a second time tonight. I am not hitting the power button or anything. Haven't dropped the laptop or made any hardware changes. Always handle with care. Anyone else experience this with a 2010 mbp? Any suggestions? Should I be worried?

Did install a new java update last week from software update. Had a youtube video playing both times.

Specs are in sig. Thanks

I have seen a hd youtube vid cause a machine to kernal panic due to a bad graphics card. Play one again and see if you can reproduce the issue.

Thanks for your input, however the video wasn't HD. Just a standard 480p youtube video. This is the new INtel HD graphics and Nvidia GT 330m. Had it set to intel.
