My MacBook has been having problems, i put in a new hard drive, have it running nice so far. But once I stop activity, for example, don't press any keys or move the mouse pad, the MacBook shuts off. Anyone know what it can be? how to fix it?

If your MBP is Intel based, I'd try resetting the SMC. Instructions here.

Just for the record, all MBPs are Intel. That's aren't called PowerBooks anymore; since they aren't PowerPC.
I had a similar problem with a MacBook years ago. If you didn't touch any keys or move the mouse for about a minute and a half it would do a hard shutdown like you had held the power button down for 5 seconds.
If I left something on the KB to keep a key pressed it wouldn't happen. Ended up being a faulty logic board for me.
