hey,
I found several threads on slow internet, but the one that came closest to my problem was about (snow)leopard, (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/385855/) whilst I am using lion.
The problem may also be like this (http://www.mactalk.com.au/56/86233-imac-slowing-down-whole-network.html), I don't know, quitting mail dit not solve the problem.
Here's the problem, my download, browse and streaming speed is very low, I'm hardly able to wach a youtube movie. This problem occured one a two weeks ago, before everyting was fine. I have a 15 inch MacBook Pro, running 10.7.2. Our home network consists of a modem with router and a time capsule for backups. All our mac's are connected to internet by wifi. When my MacBook is turned off internet on the other devices is much faster. When I ran a network diagnostic tool, it gave the result shown in the attachments. When checking my dns in preferences, it only showed one dns-address wich was greyed out. Also mail (icloud) had some issues with sending emails. I don't know how these things relate to each other, nor if they're relevant. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this. Thanks in advance.
