Hey,

A while back, (long story short) I had a bit of an accident with my headphones, in which the jack broke off and is stuck in my headphone input. Since then, I have been using an external sound-card to get sound from my Macbook (original white - MB061*/A). However, when I start the Macbook, I still get the intro music through my main speakers. So it's obviously a software issue - my sound card still things that some headphones are plugged in. I was wondering if it were possible to bypass the headphone jack with a command, possibly in terminal. I can't bypass in system preferences or in the Audio/MIDI pane. Anyone know a solution?

Thanks!

It is not a software problem, all you can do is get the headphone plug out.
