Macbook spaekers stopped working

I just got done playing an online game and when I finished, my speakers stopped working. No sound comes form them but when I try to play a youtube video, and the speakers make this weird clicking sound. It sounds like the trackpad but louder. my volume wasn't even that loud. What is wrong with my speakers? How do I fix them?
