Hi guys,
A while back I took my Macbook in to fix a cracked case (white unibody), and while it was in I mentioned the crappy sounded speakers. The guy said they would do tests because he couldn't hear what I meant.
Got it back with the receipt saying speakers were replaced. Trouble is they still sound the same. I'm just wondering, for those that own a Macbook, are they completely clear at any level? Ir do you get what sounds like crackling or buzzing over sounds? It sounds pretty crap even at half volume, and miles worse than my iPad does even at full volume. I can't watch Youtube videos without headphones.
One other question, when I had my Macbook repaired the first time, the rubber bottom started peeling away (just a small bit), and since I didn't fancy driving 50 miles again to get that replaced, I glued it back on. I kind of wish I'd just gone and got it replaced. Do you think they'll tell me its no longer covered by warranty because of this?
