I've had trouble installing an SSD with my Macbook. It was from 2007 and the belief is the SATA interface is too old. My friends Macbook from only last year is fine.

Who here can verify they own a similar macbook of age from 3 years ago or older and have an SSD inside it that works. The OCZ 60 V2 doesn't work in my Intel Core Duo 2.

Thanks in advance.

I had an SSD in my 2006 MacBook Pro (original Core Duo) and it worked great. I've never tried it in a Macbook, but for the most part, any device with a SATA interface is compatible with any SATA drive.

What kind of trouble are you having exactly?
