MacBook SSD Speeds

What speed do you think the PCe SSD in the new MacBook will be able to reach?

Will they be the same as the new MacBook Pro Retina 13 or will they be slower even compared to last years macbook air?

No idea, but I'm curious to know. I guess we'll have to wait until mid-April. The SSD in my 13" rMBP is blazing fast.

Since Apple says it's PCe I hope it's as fast as my current 2014 13 MBPr. It would be great if it was as fast as the 2015 model with 1400mbps reads and writes.

The 2015 MBA 13" have faster SSDs than the MBA 11".

I'm sure we will get the slower version found in the MBA 11".

Revision 2 with Skylake will have the faster SSD.

Yes. The benefits of the four land PCI-e in current systems are likely to be only hypothetical for most of us.
