i have very slight staining on my new 1.8 macbook white and today i took it to the store.

They said no problems and have a part on order, im taking it in to be repaired in 2-3 days - very good service i suggest you do the same should you have this problem.

Ya I got the same from the Applecare guy on the phone calling from here in the UK - I can make an appointment and get the part(s) swapped over.

Mine is starting to show staining a bit, but I'm not sure if it's bad enough to take in...

can you guys take pictures of the stained parts so that I can see how bad yours is and if I should call and say something?

Same for me too.

Actually I just took some pictures, but it doesn't show up very well... It shows up better in natural light, to the point that the stain is pretty much brown when I sit on my deck relaxing.

i wonder if i took in my blackbook and asked them to switch it out, what they would say...

I've been wondering. Do you actually have to have staining, or can you do a pre-emptive swapping of cases? Also, does anyone have experience as to how long it should take?

Oh, btw. Hello! :p
