My Macbook (late 2006) has recently began to not boot up. I will hold the power button to completely turn it off and try again. Sometimes I will have to do this 5 for more times before it will fully boot up. It will turn off at different points during boot up (making a clicking like sound). Once I get it booted up it works fine...unless I close it and it goes to sleep. Then there is no way to wake it up and have to shut it down. After doing a little research I thought it was a hard drive error so I installed a new drive. But sorry to say it did not fix the problems I just listed. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
