hey guys

when im recharging my late 09 macbook just recently its decided to hang at 99% charged for like 30min or so, and in the bar it just sits at 8min remaining, but takes forever to get fully charged...for a few days it said 'service battery' but its not saying that anymore.

its out of warranty now, and i was just wondering when the time comes how much will it cost to replace the battery?

It's perfectly normal for it not to charge to 100%. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
Try calibrating the battery and if you need a new battery, get a new generic battery off ebay for about $30.
I wouldn't trust any battery that didn't come from Apple. Too many have had problems with non-Apple batteries.
