hi, i've been having a small problem, my macbook suddenly stops charging, it's done that 2 times already today was the second one, the first one was about a month ago. Do you guys think it could be the charger? once about 2 weeks before the first time it stopped charging i had a little accident where the charger ended up several feet away :p and now when it charges it heats up a lot and i don't remember if is suppose to do that. My theory is that it heats up so much that it stops charging and after a wile it charges again. What do ou guys think it could be? i just hope it's not the macbook :(

Have you checked your battery health? It could be a battery problem.........or it could be the adapter....do you notice any fraying on it? If it is it is defective and you should get a new one, if not I'd say take it to an Apple Store and have it checked out.

the battery is at 100% of health and well the charger look fine to me :s

on my next trip to the apple sore i'll tell them and see what they'll have to say
