Macbook Stuck in Grey Screen

Hi
My mac book stuck in grey screen. If i press the option key during start-up it's not showing my hard drive only cursor showing. I also try to boot from cd but nothing happend. please help me.

It's not looking good. Normally if your hard drive doesn't appear at the startup manager it means the drive is gone. But since the CD doesn't appear either it makes things stranger. Either you have a couple of issues; the hard drive and the CD/optical drive or something far worse. Maybe RAM or logic board. Can you boot to the apple hardware test on it?
