MacBook Supports Apple Remote?

Hi Mac Mavens :)

I have a MacBook White (Mid 2010). I will buy a VGA Adapter and use it for academic conference with Apple Remote. But I don't know that MacBook suports Apple Remote, for showing presentations (Made on Keynote '09) remotely!!??

The Unibody while plastic MacBook does not have an infrared sensor and therefore does not support the Apple Remote.
