I need a bit of help connecting my Macbook to my 42" Samsung Plasma. I got my old Dell laptop hooked up to it via VGA, but I want my mac 'cause of FrontRow and stuff.

Alright, currently I have the "Mini-DVI to DVI" adapter from Apple already. I'm looking for a "DVI to HDMI" adapter so it can connect to the TV. Is there any product that you can recommend for the HDMI adapter? There's a bunch on eBay that I want to buy to save some money, but there's so many to choose from. I also know there's different types of DVI where there's a different amount of pins. I don't know which is which, so that's where I need your guys help.

Thanks in advance.

you need a dvi-d (dual link dvi) to hdmi cable.

dont worry about quality. the signal is digital. no difference between a $2 HDMI vs. a $300 monster brand HDMI. except the fancy plastic.
