Depending on your TV, the best way will probably be to use a mini-DVI to DVI adapter from Apple, and then a DVI cable (if your TV has a DVI plug on the back), or a DVI-to-HDMI cable (if it has HDMI). This way the signal is all-digital from your machine to the TV.
If it has neither HDMI nor DVI but does have VGA, you could get the mini-DVI to VGA adapter from Apple, and then use a VGA cable for an analog connection.
