Macbook to MBP HD switch?

Hey all,

I just ordered a refurb 2011 MBP 15" and I was wondering if it would be possible to switch my upgraded 500gb 7200 rpm hard disk from my late 2007 Macbook?

Anyone see any trouble arising from this? I also have win7 installed on a bootcamp partition.

Wouldn't hurt to try, it should work if you're running at least the latest version of snow leopard.

I have Lion on it. I guess I will give it a shot when it gets here.
