I currently own a 27“ Late 2015 iMac, but have an increasing need to be able to work on the road, so I would like to replace it with a MBP or MBA. It doesn’t need to be extremely powerful, as I mostly use MS Office (i.e. PowerPoint and Excel) and PDF tools in multiple instances - so rather RAM heavy tasks.
I never had an issue with the performance of my iMac, hence I’d like to buy a device that is capable of doing the same - just on the go.
Would you say the MBA serves my needs, or should I spend the extra money for the MBP?
