Since apple replaced my hard drive when i connect my macbook to tv via minidvi to vga the computer flashes like it recognizes it, then when i change to vga on the tv it shows the leopard background, but not my background. If i have a movie on it will still just show the leopard background. Any ideas??

Macbook to TV no longer works??

It's setup as extended desktop instead of mirroring. Go to display in system prefs. You can move your mouse around and watch it as it moves to your TV, you can also move your movie to the TV while you use your Macbook to do other things.
