Hi,
I have a MacBook and would like to watch Hulu movies on my TV. I have a Marantz receiver and a Sanyo HD flat screen TV. I have a converter from the Mac to a S-video and yellow cable. Any clues why my TV says "no signal"?
Thanks,
Chris

no clue but you could get the mini display port to hdmi cable and then just get a normal hdmi cable that goes from that adapter to the tv. thats what i did. i bought the mini dp for 7 bucks shipped, a 12ft hdmi for 6 bucks shipped, and another 6ft hdmi for 3 bucks shipped. gotta love ebay :)

just the adapter would cost over that at the apple store.

solved

Marantz told me that if I'm using HDMI from the receiver to the t.v. I had to use HDMI from the computer to the receiver too. The S-video won't work. I took the advice above and bought off eBay. Netfilx on demand now and free Hulu TV. Nice
