macbook to TV

Is it possible to hook a macbook to a LCD-HD TV? If possible, what cables are required?

Apple sells a mini-DVI to DVI adapter ($19, http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&nplm=M9321G/B), which you can then hook up to a DVI to HDMI cable. Though it partly depends on what connections you have on the TV. Alternatively you can get a mini-DVI to VGA adapter if the TV supports VGA.
