Hello,
I have an old black Macbook 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 13-inch Late 2006 and I need to replace the topcase as one of the keys is absolutely shot.

When I look online for the part I am given the choice of : silver or orange/brown cable.

Will either of these work for my machine or do I need to choose a particular one?? HELP!!!

cheers

Either/both will work fine - your MacBook originally had the silver cable so go for the correct one if you are happier with that.

The later ones (with the media keys) will work fine too as long as you have at least 10.5 Leopard
