MacBook Trackpad Issues

I just brought my MacBook into the Apple store--there was the chipping at the handrest area, so they replaced the part. But, as you may know, the entire bottom piece, keyboard, and trackpad are all one piece, so I assume they had to unplug the cable that connects trackpad and keyboard and plug in a new one. Well, something in this process seems to have gone wrong.

In the mouse & keyboard prefpane, the trackpad settings tab is no longer showing up. How can I get this to come back? I'd like to adjust some settings.
