Macbook turns on by itself after shutting down

Hi everyone,

I have a 4th generation Macbook with OS X 10.6.2 installed and for some reason when I turn off the computer, the computer will suddenly start up again after about 5 minutes. Does anyone else have this issue?

Is there an easy way to fix this? I'm wondering whether this has anything to do with me leaving the computer on for hours at a time.
