Hi all,

about two months ago my late 2008 aluminum Macbook stopped connecting to the internet wirelessly. There was no slowdown or anything that I remember it just all of a sudden stopped working. I did not drop it and no physical harm wad done that could have somehow messed something up. Initially I ran disk utility and found out that there was nothing wrong so I figured that the issue must be from some software thing. I decided to reinstall lion but that didn't work. I then decided to reinstall snow leopard but that also didn't work.

After exhausting my personal resources I took it to a local best buy where a certified apple employee spent a collective 4 hours (2 hours 2 different days) trying to solve my problem. He got absolutely nowhere and simply said that he did not know what was wrong.

This is my last resort for this computer. Does anybody know anything that might be able to fix my internet problem?

Any tips might help. Thank you.

It's possible that your airport card has broken. I'm not sure how to tell.

Did you try to reinstall OS X? Sometimes this helps.
